WELL GEE ANON, AS IF I DIDN’T GET THIS QUESTION A LOT. Let me explain myself in a proper matter and it will upset you and right now, I can care less. 

First off, due to some aspects that revolved within that fandom and with the writing itself, i ceased to actually take part in the activities that gleeks are enjoying with themselves. (and also because some of the things the writers did to the show ruined it for me and the things i hear from my ap lit teacher everyday on how horrible the scripts are just…wow, ok.) 

Let’s go back to around…March or February of this year. Around that time, I wanted to watch new shows and I was in love with glee and klaine and the fluffy goodness that it supplied me, but due to the hiatus that glee was about to face, I turned to different resources. I was already into Doctor Who and a friend of mine from tumblr got me into watching Sherlock after suggesting Merlin. This was late March, early April. I’ve heard about the show since it’s release, (and because Benedict Cumberbatch was on my dash one day and I was like dayummmm that’s a nice face) but i never got a chance to actually watch it so I did. I watched all three episodes in ONE DAY, and I was hooked immediately.

Literally hooked. On that day, I threw away my glee blog and i started fresh. I deleted a bunch of the glee posts that I made, reblogged, and sadly, lost over 500 followers. But I met new people and friends and I can now say that I am a veteran in the Sherlock fandom. 

On that day, I knew that I found a new place to actually lurk around and avoid ship wars (cause basically, everyone in the sherlock fandom ships everything so yeah)

How does this tie into glee? 

Well, there are posts lurking around tumblr with different arguments as to why glee isn’t their cup of tea and while I read them, I realized that all of their points made sense to me. The lack of continuity and the message that you should love yourself the way you are (when born this way aired) were all THROWN AWAY and I just didn’t feel it anymore.  After a few episodes, everything went back into being morbidly offensive to a lot of minorities. (Mercedes and Shane talking about making cocoa babies; asian kisses; racism etc; and the highly offensive ones were the figgins jokes for I am pakistani and everything really upset me.) 

hey, i have a ton of tumblr friends who like it but don’t expect to see it on my blog anymore because the investment i had on this show was crushed by some of the fans and some of the characters.
