He never said he had no interest in being on Doctor Who. Those are completely different things.

yeah, i sorta already kinda cleared this up but i believe that he wouldn’t want such an iconic role like the doctor or the master in my opinion, but hey! if he does it, good for him! i mean, it’s his life.
